I hate torture so I didn't watch the game, but Colorado borderline plungered them. I know the you need to give him time spiel, and Cal doesn't give a fuck about football, but do you think they cut bait?

I guess I already know because it's call but say they're a hypothetical middle tier team. There isn't much of a precedent set of firing a guy after 1 year but his team is pathetic. If it was, say, Arizona coming off 3-9, would they pull the plug? I think the majority of universities are too pussy because they don't want to look like football is more important than academics bullshit. A real football school would have no problem telling him to GTFO. But then again, I don't think a real football school would let their program lose 11 games in the first place.

With Cal catching heat over letting C average student athletes in, the AD and Pres may not want to catch the heat.

Dykes is in a better position than Sark right now.
 
Cal is going to be paying Jeff Tedford for a couple more years, plus servicing the debt on their stadium remodel. They really needed to get the coaching hire right. Not sure that they did. Still, hard to fire a guy in year one.
 
I would love for Cal to fire him to show that even fucking Cal takes football more seriously than Washington.
 
They should hire Losingham if they actually want to rebuild "doing things the right way".
