No. USC was leaving. There was no coming back after that.
That is an interesting thought. Even if just from the hype perspective.
USC just lost their qb recruit to Prime and Colorado.

I will LIPO when it comes to college QB recruits, but if USC thought Longstreet was better they would've targeted him over Lewis.

Larry Scott and the 12 short sighted University President’s easily could have added Texas and OU, no way the PAC folds.
Watching 3 seniors starting at tOSU, I wonder had UW been in the BIG if Petersen had a better chance landing these guys. I bet Egbuka is in the NFL today had he played for our previous coach and not playing his sr year. JT definitely would have made a difference in the natty but all three probably leave after the Lake shitshow.
