Used to catch the bus to the games all the tim. At the time, it cost nothing. You just had to show your game ticket.

I'm sure Metro has a lot more to do with this than UWAD.

UW probably used to subsidize it but no longer does

Or, they still subsidize the same amount and Metro has jacked up its prices. Their operating costs have gone up I'm sure.

I suspected that was a big part of it. Their OT pay plus all the operating costs which have increased rapidly over a short period of time are contributing to this.

I'm afraid to look how many of them are making over $100k.

Don't forget the health care and pensions too.

And local politicians enable it because they want the campaign $$$ and public sector union votes.
