Cornhuskers keeping Frost

They fired Pelini for winning nine games a year. Ten years later Frost might, if the stars align, he might get them to eight or nine wins. Nebraska is (almost) back (to nine wins)!

It's stupid to hire alums or present assistants. It almost guarantees failure.

Anyone would have hired Frost after Central Florida. Keeping him is bizarre

Heuple followed Frost at UCF and is now at Tennessee trying to rebuild that program

I saw that and got the Fulmer answer right. I forgot Spurrier won a natty. For some reason, I was thinking he was an almost but never there coach.

Everything may or may not happen, but the odds of an alum really succeeding as a coach are slim to none. You see it regularly. It's a feel good hire, but after the buzz wears off you see that being an alum is not the same as being a driving head coach with natural talent and experience.
