He’s a great prospect that is slightly undersized. You were saying you wanted all recruits like Heimuli. I was saying you only say that because he was 4 stars.

Between the confirmed size, the intelligent play/great pad level/tackling tenacity shown on tape, his state championship in discus, offers to Dartmouth and Yale, AND THE BEST FUCKING DEFENSIVE COACH IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS DIRECTLY RECRUITING HIM AND WANTED HIM, I have no reason but to be optimistic about this kid.

I'm ready for Cooper and James Smith to be studs. Crucially, I'm also ready for them to be JAGs to turds, with it being a VERY long stretch they're as worthless as Manu.
 
McDonald kind of reminds me of a 1980s UW linebacker. Slow, tough, good tackler.

As long as he can diagnose and fill the gaps, we will be fine. This year we had two mentally challenged guys diagnosing plays and doing it wrong
