Yes, Colin Porter too. Erik Kohler as well.

Unfortunately, it's easy to forget these guys, because their careers were all derailed before they ever really had a chance to make names for themselves.

Sad thing is he was using these kids as propaganda ... so he could tell kids hey come to Washington and you can play early.

Bummer the kids aren't ready, get hurt because they aren't coached right, and waste a great opportunity at a great school.

so, actually playing early is the kiss of death? does it mean you've been evaluated as a washout in your first fall camp?

If you can't see that Sark was burning kids redshirt to play up the "We are young" card to idiots like Baird to repeat non stop then I can't help you.

did Brostek redshirt this year?

no, he played in the last few minutes of the idaho state game and a few others. The generally accepted rationale is that

A) Sark is really fucking stupid,
B) Brostek sucks ass and wouldn't have been a "5 star if he didn't live in Hawaii", thus he's not worth an extra year of eligibility or
C) a lot of both A and B

I'll let you guess what the generally accepted answer is

King played because he's good and we needed him. Not his fault he's 6-3 165lb. Wasn't a waste of redshirt, just poor timing to sign with Washington as a safety. Maybe he can RS next year while he rehabs. We'll be so deep at safety. So
Deep Brandon Beaver can RS and learn to play

Dude, you really need to remember take that pill.

So we needed a 165 pound true freshman this year, but he will not be needed next year because we will be so deep at safety. Where is that depth supposedly coming from? 2014 true freshmen recruits?

Gibberish.

What the fuck are you talking about? We are very thin at safety. It is one of the biggest, if not the biggest question mark we have going into next season. What did you see out of King that made you think he is good? He could eventually be good, but he played out of necessity this season, not because he was ready.

During Friday's Hunger Games, did anybody see an appreciable drop-off at FS with King out and Beaver/Watson filling in? I sure didn't. Which begs the question: WTF was Sark doing taking the redshirt off a 165-lb true frosh in the first place?
