I'm assuming SWA had to do this because their customers are all fat poors.

The irony of this is SWA has quietly raised their fares. I usually check 3 airports (Lex, Louisville & Cincinnati) and 3-4 airlines (Delta, American, United & Southwest) for flights. It seems SWA is no longer the great bargain it used to be.

They're no better than any other airline at this point. The low fares are usually a mirage or they're for some route noone takes like Albuquerque to Billings at 11 p.m. on February 6th of 2029 or something.
