Confessions of a doog

I emailed shitty things to Jim Moore in the early 2000s when he was writing about the legal trouble the team was going through.

Jim Moore probably deserved it anyways

Unless "shitty things" means anthrax powder, then he didn't go far enough.

After Sark left, I got a text at 2 AM from @DerekJohnson telling me he heard Mora was taking the job. I stayed up the rest of the night eagerly awaiting the announcement.

I was downtown when Softy was doing his show from the UW bookstore & had Sark on as a guest. I took a photo with Sark.

I thought Rick was making us soft, and Gilby was the tuff guy to turn it around.

Fuck everyone who liked Willingham, I hated him from day 1. (racist?)

I liked Sark's Kick Ass Presser. I thought a loss to LSU showed we turned a corner.

Most have been said before, but here are mine:

- I thought Rick being fired was good for the program and was justified.

- I thought Ty was exactly the type of guy we* needed to "clean up the program"

- I thought Sark should be left alone until year 4 because "you have no idea how hard it is to recover from Owen12".

- I thought that Sark had finally righted the ship after the inspirational victory over Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl.

- I thought the move to the Clink would be alright for the gameday atmosphere and took pictures of the fans storming the field after the win over Stanford.

- I thought Nick Montana and Cyler Miles were going to provide stability at the QB position for years.

- I believed Mora when he said he would drop everything to come coach the Huskies if the job opened up.

- I subscribed to Dawgman.

You're the worst kind of Husky fan

This is a great thread. This board of misfits and fuck ups hated by Husky fans everywhere are just another bunch of doogs.

That tweet I sent to Harv with the Kent family in their 91 Natty sweatshirts? I owned both of those sweatshirts.

I came when Rick was hired and held up the gold helmet

I stood on my seat watching the Rose Bowl Trophy ceremony thinking of how I could get Rick to marry me. I knew we? would watch that scene again many times over.

I hated Gilby and Ty from day 1 but was a doogman "insider" and did in fact lead so many of you astray on the first Jim Mora hiring.

I bought into Sark after the Holiday Bowl. I cried during the opening TD drive in the loss to LSU in Sark's first game.

I write DuckFighter Illustrated

Nuff said on that

I cried during the opening TD drive in the loss to LSU in Sark's first game.

I was there and cheered louder than I had since the '03 Apple Cup. That TD probably bought him more goodwill than any single moment outside the USC win. Owen reduced our standards lower than anyone could imagine.

I didn't love or hate the Willingworm hire. I just felt shell shocked after the 1-10 season after winning seasons literally my entire life. It seemed like a better alternative to Gilbertson. I had enough of an open warped mind to give him over two seasons. I even talked trash to an Oregon idiot after the 4-1 start in 2006, even though it was one of the worst 4-1 starts ever and I doubted the team would do better than 7-5.

I liked Sark until 2012. I thought UW was going to beat Oregon in 2011. I skipped many parties/events to watch those 8 pm Pac 12 games. There was one in particular where there were drunk, naked sluts on a party bus while I watched Arizona plunger us, alone at an empty Buffalo Wild Wings.

I podcasted for 3 years. I thought Cyler Miles was going to be a star. I followed TBS for years. If I lived in the area, I probably would have went to a doogman signing event.

This site really helped my fandom and to not be such a pathetic doog.
