Texas would of been around a 6-7 seed last year and were a 3 seed this year. They have depth and the #12 recruiting class so far in 2021 and won the big 12 tourney.

I know you are being sarcastic but Texas is set up to be a legit top 20 team for years to come. The tourney wins will follow

Eh. It’s dumb when the sec does it because it’s usually just fans of the shit-tier teams trying to get some trickle down glory from Bama and lsu.

But I’m ok with it in this instance. The Pac12 has been (rightfully) shit on for years by the committee so it’s a nice middle finger to them and all the northeast analysts who devour every a10 game but refuse to watch anything west of texas

$150k bonus for UW and every other school in the P12[/b] for each win by a P12 team in the tournament. Seems like a good reason to root for P12 teams.
