Which band would you want to see in concert in the past if you could go back in time?
Also, if you choose a festival like Woodstock '69, choose which day.

Mine would be Day Three of the US Festival '83

Eddie is fucking unreal. That hit me in the heart. The first time we had 'vocation' day I said I wanted to be Eddie Van Halen. This was like '82, I think.

Easiest decision I could ever make. Who at Leeds University. Feb 14, 1970.

THE WHO WERE THE GREATEST LIVE ROCK AND ROLL BAND OF ALL TIME. CASE CLOSED.

I'd see AC/DC and Judas Priest at the show in Paris where Let There Be Rock was filmed.

I saw the Specials at the Showbox a few years ago. They were still pretty fucking good. Terry Hall may have been pulled out of a looney bin, for he was spouting some batshit crazy lines, but sounded great. To see them young, poor and pissed off in the late 70's, early 80's Thatcher run England would be some angry, high energy shit.

I love Black Flag with Keith Morris, so I would say them:

In high school my friends and I would sing "Depression" around the bon fire after a healthy night of drinking (without women). It was kinda like the theme song to our club. "The Untouchable PEN15's". That was us. A bunch of depressed, angry future alcoholics. In the last twenty plus years nothing much has changed with any of us except wives, kids, divorces, my bad back and a balky knee. Young was better. The song is still apt.

Took a friend to the UB40 concert at the Orpheum in Vancouver in the mid 90's?

We were in the friend zone although there was potential. I wasn't ready but she was.

Woulda coulda shoulda?

30 August, 1969. Workington, England. First show ever for Black Sabbath.
