I got smashed on tickets. Bought yesterday thinking that once the second team was crowned prices would go up. Well they didn’t.
Seems like maybe both teams bought and Tennessee is dumping this morning. Oof.

Yep, all of those endzone seats that are now under $300 were $350 plus yesterday. I think I'm just going to continue to let it ride. I've been very successful scalping Rose Bowl tickets over the years. Picked up a ticket to the UW/Purdue game for under $20 back in the day. They were practically giving them away as it got within and hour of game time.

I've yet to scalp since the advent of e-tickets.
 
I bought about half way up on 15 yard line for 650. I can get same seats on the 50 for 500 today.

I hope the crew I bought for doesn’t check prices today. Sorry guysm.

Ouch. I don't know why, but I suspect tickets are going to be plentiful. Yeah, I know OSU fans travel but with two more rounds of games there are some that are going to sit this first round out waiting for the NC game. I'll let you know how the scalping goes. Not everyone can be as rich as haie. Btw, did you hear that haie is offering free transportation on his private jet down to the Sun Bowl? Fucking rich 1%, they have all the fun.
 
$650 is currently getting you a seat on the Oregon side at the 35 - 40 yard line. If you're willing to sit on the OSU side you can pick up a pair on the 50 for less than $600.

When we played FSU I picked up a pair about 20 rows up on the 45 for $125 each about 15 mins before kick off. Don't think it's going to get that cheap but you really don't know until you get there.

I realize that you don't make it to the Rose Bowl very often and that you haven't won a Rose Bowl in nearly 25 years but the Rose Bowl doesn't seat 100K and hasn't for many, many years. When I attended the Rose Bowl the last year UW won it against a crappy Purdue team, tickets were practically being given away right before game time. I know I scalped a ticket for less than $20 bucks, the stadium capacity was already well under 100K.
