I've never been much for paying attention to the workout numbers ... can I get a translator for these numbers?
For an interior DL - the squat and vert are very nice numbers and indicate very good lower body explosion. I think for young players (HS & CFB) generally vert is a very good metric as it's pure lower body explosion and power whereas 40 could be a lot about sprinter form that isn't always football relevant. Over 30" VJ is good for lineman and over 35" is good for everyone else in my opinion.http://twitter.com/ElijahQualls11/status/576439622672130048
