Colorado Football getting slammed for looking undersized

Amazing work by the photographer by using a wide angle distortion lens to make those guys look like dwarves.

OL “Dieon” was good here as a coach at JSU(Jackson State University) in this here state of the great state of Mississippi.

However, he wasn’t playing our SEC teams or USM. He was playing the “HBCU” league. Whatever that means.

And did good.

That does in NO WAY mean he is next level. He had a son and recruited a #1 recruit from FL ST. Awesome.

He then, after he dominated the “HBCU”, got hired at CO. Awesome agian.

Now? You make the call if he is a grand coach.

To me? He proved zero. Even after being “here”.

Don’t mean Jack fkn shit.

More folks around this country think more than we do. But everyone can do them.

Make your own conclusions.

When there were rumors of his hire at CU I went out on a limb and said EVEN CU is not fucking dumb enough to hire prim tim.

Shock and awe, I was wrong.

A better coach that produced a winner would have been ideal for them (and every school). Deion did bring in a lot of eyeballs and money to a dead program.

A case can be made for it being a good hire, but they gotta cut bait when it goes bad this season. NIL makes Deion’s recruiting almost irrelevant. Kids want to play for Deion but they will take money and winning over that.

You mean, like Jedd? Okay, all joking aside - Jedd also puts a lot of emphasis on recruiting and developing high schoolers which is really contra to today's NIL era. I saw a bunch of similarities in Deion's first year at CU and Jedd's first year at UW simply because both OLs were non existent and it takes at least one season to build a better OL - especially if your NIL game is suspect.

Both improved from year one to year two. Let's see if Jedd can avoid pulling a "Prim Tim" aka having a losing record in his third year.

I think it is more likely than not that both will be gone at the end of 2026. Jedd to greener pastures and Prim Tim just put out to pasture.

TLDR. I am not sure that Deion can coach a lick. He can recruit but does it even matter? I think he should've stayed at the HBCU.

Deon should have got while the getting was good.

Shadur and Hunter were his meal ticket.

He's kind of fucked now. Recruiting skills don't mean as much in the NIL era as the old days. Money talks.
