College Student Football League

Tried to quote Yella's changes, but Vanilla FS.
Can I add to this that the in-stadium experience at HS is shit compared to pre-renovation? All they do is blare music between each play and run incessant ads. One of my kids sat with his hands on his ears for 2/3 of the last game we attended because he was sick of the blaring music being played the whole time, and the stadium announcer is also fucking annoying.
Let the band play their shit and otherwise let the fans make noise.
NFL 2.0 is already here and it sucks.
El oh el, this is pure nostalgia
Husky Stadium is 10 times better in every way after the reno. First and foremost because that fucking track is gone.
Sometimes I don't know what we're arguing about. Clearly, New Husky Stadium is a better facility than Old Husky Stadium.
But I don't think it's simply nostalgia to prefer the old school college football vibes of a 90's Husky game over the NFL vibes of current Husky stadium.

There are no NFL vibes at a Husky game. There really isn't. It's far superior to Lumen.
Yeah, the DJ segments they do once or twice a game are dumb. Who cares.

Lumen was a complete pile of shit in every way.

agree. I gave up my season tickets that I had for 39 years because of the transfer portal, NIL, playoffs, collapse of the pac 12, and general loss of college game day atmosphere of old.

I used to follow recruiting, knowing the players entering out of high school would be the future. Now i barely know who the players are before the season starts. Now I have an idea of who 20% of the players are.

I still go to select games buying on the secondary market. Tomorrow will be my first game of the year. Club section. Last year I went to 9 games including the Pac12 championship and the Natty. This years I’ll probably go to 3

NOC I’m sure

Did I say the stadium itself is not better? No, I did not. Sightlines are better, field is better, scoreboard, etc. No kidding.
The experience in the seat is not better.

It's the not knowing the players that's the biggest thing for me at the moment. I used to follow recruiting and spring practices more but this past season I couldn't see the point knowing that there's another transfer portal in the summer

Brock just said during the Oregon game that they play the best music. Are they winning you over?
