College football sucks so far this year.

Agree, but it's picking up. The non conference schedules really hurt the game. There were weeks where there was only one or two games worth watching. And sometimes those games don't live up to the hype and there were no other options.
 
What that doesn't show is there is a goddamned meaningless baseball game on before the Dawgs vs The Tree. Two weeks ago those miserable fucks didn't finish until it was half-time of the Illinois game. Football should never be preempted by baseball, unless drunk fans are rushing the field and fighting the baseball teams with makeshift clubs and spears.

Actually, they switched to the game near the start of the second quarter and that baseball game was on so late because it had been rain delayed.

They need to kick 30-40 teams out of FBS and ban scheduling lower divisions. Promotion/relegation would be also be nice.

Just limit the lower division matchups to 1 a year. Need more app state vs michigan, ewu vs oregon state type of games
