What is a Zionist? I support a freedom loving people who only want peace with their neighbors. If the Arabs wanted peace they could have it. It was pretty quiet on October 6th and then it wasn't. When the Muslim demand for peace is that the Jews either die or go "home" (wherever that is) there isn't going to be peace. The Jews are going quietly in the night like the left dreams as the solution. The Israelis left Gaza and there was a defacto two state solution. If fact there was a classic leftard election and then what happened? One election, one time.
Zionists believe in having a Jewish national state.
Not sure how that got twisted into a word that's used in the same way that fascist is tossed around in the US.

So, if you aren't a Zionist then you don't support a Jewish national state. Would seem to be more honest if they just said that. Seems like a more honest policy description than using Zionist as a pejorative.

Massive contingents of the Muslim world just condemned Hamas. You gals were celebrating that the other day, while ignoring the fact that they also are calling for a two-state solution. Zionism is a late 19th Century, decidedly separatist (self-segregationist?) movement of European Jews, and a reaction to European pogroms and antisemitism. It is an Ashkenazi Jewish movement.
Arab people were expelled in order to create the State of Israel, and Israel explicitly embraces a religious tradition which is different from the religious traditions of most of them, even from the non-Ashkenazi Jews among them. To the extent anyone ever told Israeli Jews to go "home", they undoubtedly meant go back to Europe.
While it was not inevitable that Israel would be founded as an explicitly Jewish state, and some prominent Jews opposed that, the extreme Zionists won the day and here we are. What's done is done and Israelis aren't going back to Europe anytime soon either. We can either support the establishment of a Palestinian State as was called for from the very beginning—at least as early as 1947—or we watch Israel continue its Putinesque land grabs and genocide.

We did support a Palestinian state. Israel left Gaza and they elected Hamas to run their state. The people of Gaza support the River to the Sea. Their supporters promote Globalizing the Intifada and reject a peaceful settlement with Israel. I agree that what is done but that isn't what the people of Gaza want or what Iran wants. So why doesn't Hamas surrender, give up the hostages and then we can pretend that Gaza is pacified. I know that you are a little light in the pants on your History but losing wars has consequences. Just ask almost anyone that isn't a leftard.
Like I said. On October 6 there was an intact Palestinian state. You keep ignoring that and that Gaza and Iran want the Jews gone. You leftards can play your imaginary games.
