I think the before and after has less to do with coaching at Alabama and more to do with the Ozempic.
I really like how with this new site it doesn’t alert you every time someone responds to a thread you start. Now I can start so many more!

Kind of actually surprised he didn't find a way to do like a lateral move or a drop down somewhere this coaching carousel. Seems unlikely he survives another season at Abalama.
He made the best choice possible ~ go to a place that recruits itself, at least initially… too bad he couldn’t / didn’t keep the previous guy’s DC, that might have helped stem the flow of guys out the door that happened as he came aboard
This guy didn’t / couldn’t recruit at UW, had a weak coaching staff especially the DC and then made 2 strait miserable hires for a DC at Bama ~ strapped for cash for coaches? In the meantime he makes 50 million before he exits ~ works for me.

He probably could have recruited better at UW but never really thought staying in Seattle was an option beyond a couple of years. Since the Crimson Tide recruits itself, he can recruit well enough in Tuscaloosa to only lose 4 games per year which, apparently, does not get you fired at Alabama.
