Everyone — the team, coaches, fans — celebrated the win over Oregon like it was the national championship. There was bound to be a letdown.

But what happened last night went way beyond a letdown. It was a pantsing of the bully (hi @dnc) in front of everyone.

It was embarrassing. The ONLY good thing was that UW ended up not actually losing.

But it sure feels like a loss the morning after.

Not everyone[/i]. There were a few that struggled through the Oregon game because of the painful self-inflicted fuckery that was only eclipsed by Oregon's own self-inflicted fuckery. These few were told that they were out of their mind for not figuratively storming the field with the rest of the doogs. That it was onward and upward to the natty. That BONEM.

Those few just enjoy watching technically sound tackling, red zone offense that's less painful than dental surgery, and a team that's not top-5 in the country in sloppy penalty yardage, but a win's a win right?

I'm happy UW won. The losing team only knows one thing. It's better to win.

If they pull their heads out of their collective ass and start playing well again this game will fade from memory.

Fanatics creates those for every rivalry game, nobody fucking wears those things.

I guarantee you there is a small tribe in Africa littered with them and Buffalo bills Super Bowl champs shirts.

Not mine. I'm just not that bent out of shape because I'm not all that surprised. I'm relieved it's a W though. A bad win, call it a moral loss, is better than a moral victory-loss.

You weren't surprised that our formerly shoe-in Heisman winner and the next coach of the USC Trojans/offensive mastermind couldn't muster a single TD against a 1-5 team with half their roster out with injury? At home?

I wasn't surprised it was a bad game.

I was surprised how bad the offense was. I thought an off game would still look better than that
