Cleveland Browns trying to get Mariota in a sleazy way?

NFL teams are prohibited from communicating with draft prospects before the combine. However, potential coaches can do whatever they want before signing with a team. The Cleveland Browns have named Kevin O’Connell as quarterbacks coach for the 2015 season, but O’Connell hasn’t officially joined the team yet. He’s finishing up his duties as Marcus Mariota’s personal trainer. Once it’s time for Mariota to pursue his NFL career, O’Connell will pack his bags and head for Cleveland.

But they still have to trade up in the draft to get him. After wasting a first round pick last year on Johnny I can't play football. And it would probably take another first rounder to get him.

Google Washington redskins, Mike Shanahan, RGIII for the effects of giving up a few first round picks.

If they do get Mariotta, they will have earned it.

Don't know who in their right minds would want to play for the browns (no racist)
