Clay Matthews ...

We cheered when Golden Tate lit up Dallas with a blind side block but boo when someone does it to Seattle?

I fucking loved that shit. I miss Golden Tate.

I'm all for leveling punishing hits on any and all players who set foot on the field, including QBs, kickers, holders, etc. If you don't want to take a tee shot, you shouldn't be out there.

But this hit was from the blindside. On an engaged player. And helmet-to-helmet. Should result in an ejection and fine. If the League weren't preoccupied with players' shoes.

I like to call a hit in the chest coming from the direction the "victim" is going "from the blindside" - that's what I like to do. I also enjoy calling something "helmet to helmet" when just the facemask of one helmet and part of the other guy's shoulder was involved, and the primary contact was shoulder to chest.

(Grinolds answering my own question warning)

By today's standards, was it semi-dirty? Yes

Would we have given it a second thought in 1999? No

Some of you fucktards need to learn the difference ...

All for guys getting lit up ... LEGALLY

I'm not for guys targeting the heads of others ... that's dirty and shady shit.

He got the flag what more do you want? Should he send Russell an apology card with some flowers and a Starbucks gift card?

Plays like that need to get removed out of the game at all levels ... throw in ejections and suspensions and those kind of hits stop.

Pressing. So very, very badly.
