As far as recruiting goes, Bellychick will have name recognition, but he is as awkward socially as his dad in interviews. I don't see him being a recruiter at all. The mullet is his only redeeming quality. My cousin Vinnie, who played safety for Saban, appears to be the high energy, charismatic type that could be a recruiter. Maybe he can be the recruiter to SB's name and play calling experience.

NE defense has been top ten per DVOA each of the last three seasons (#6, #5, #9) so it’s not like Steve failed out as defensive play caller (patriots didn’t name an official dc) and the dude has three Super Bowl rings as a position coach. You think that doesn’t sell well in living rooms?
