Man, I don't get this forum sometimes. Supposedly Derek allows this crazy behaviour to continue because it's "not nice to make fun of people with disabilities ..." and it also "may hinder his ability to garner interviews ..."

I'll tell you what. Looking into the future, if success follows Petersen as most of us think it will ... this forum will pick up in interest as with other forums. The reality is that fans and especially recruits have their finger on the pulse of the internet ...

Neither is this site. We aren't PC police in here and if you bring up some lame dick argument expect to be shot down. That is why I like on here crap like "0-12" "He needs more time" "Wait til he gets his own guys" doesn't exist and quite frankly it shouldn't. On that other site those sayings are celebrated and embraced.

This site still has more football talk than any other Husky site and has actually good riveting discussions.

If you want football convo you can strike up a conversation. Hell we had one where I was making fun of Sark on social media then it turned into talking about Leach which was very interesting.

I agree that posters like PLSS will hurt this site in the long run but others disagree with me. Which is fine. Unlike Doogman we are allowed to disagree with each other and that be that.

If you want to talk about Husky football present, past and future I think this is the best site that I've seen. So many passionate fans in here who can recall the past years so well and think along the same lines as the future.

You won't get "Hey my son just accepted into UW can I get a handjob?" posts in here. Instead despite all the jokes you get real football talk. If you can't find football talk then you simply aren't even trying.

First, consider that this is the offseason so there is less football talk. As others said, if you want football talk, start a thread. The football threads go pretty deep.

Second, Dawgman & Kim deserve constant ridicule and vigilance because they host the largest group of husky fans and have their own agenda which is increasingly at odds with promoting a successful winning football program. They used to have one of the best boards on the entire scout network and many opposing fans congregated there. They had great writers like Race and Derek. Slowly it changed. They got rid of their free board. Then they slowly started censoring on their pay board. Then they censored Race and Derek. Then they censored anyone who strongly disagreed their pro-Sark views. Then they banned anyone who wouldn't change their mind.

If you are a huge husky fan like all of us here, who have likely bled purple and gold since kindergarten then you'd have been pissed at Kim Grinolds putting out BS and blatant lies to support a mediocre, unqualified coach who should have been shit-canned on his ethics and lack of integrity alone. Now he's gone and Grinolds is still propping up this guy while trying reduce Petersen. Seriously, any real husky fan would want to punch this treasonous bastard in the face.

Finally, this is a message board. Security and safety? I don't get it.

As someone who used to post on Dawgman quite a bit, let me say that Dawgman may have 20x as many people as HH but HH has 20x the cumulative knowledge. This is the place for football talk. Start some threads, reply to others and ignore the stuff you don't want to read.

I don't completely disagree with you. If this site ever wants to be THE site for Husky football talk it will have to clean up it's act a bit. I don't see that ever happening, though. The beauty of the internet is that, if this site isn't your style, there's plenty of other G rated options out there if you prefer an inferior site.

This site can push it at times, but it's the only place for objective, honest analysis of UW football by Husky fans for Husky fans. Every other place is either run by idiot fanbois, athletic department mouthpieces or imaginary pimps with an agenda, and none of them tolerate different opinions.

The only agenda around here is winning UW football.

This place has the potential to be the shaggybevo of the west coast. That place is overrun by fans from every university, not just the ones that play Texas.

It is also farrr more active than any other Texas message board. People like being able to say whatever the fuck they want. It's not a revolutionary concept.
