I remember Scott Eklund last week:
- It's looking like it's gonna be Arizona for Chico.
- Are you sure?
- Yes. It's Arizona.

He delivers as usual. That probably means we are not getting Chris Warren though, he has been saying UW is the leader for a couple weeks.

The direct quote was "Chico McClatcher, yeah I heard he may have qualified. Doesn't matter. He's going to Arizona and the UW staff has moved on."

He's now trying to save face by saying Chico WAS going to zona but zona's staff backed off so he reached out to UW. What a fucking joke Tard is.
 
I hope he turns out to be good but there has been a lot of hype around him for a,long time. If teams weren't after him that hard because of his grades I understand. I'm just surprised more teams didn't recruit him harder
 
I know jack shit about evaluating kids (75K), but I watched the film. Looked like Tecmo Bowl. Shake and Bake.

Chico looks pretty damn good and is a big time get. I just watched his film for the first time. He's unreal in the open field.

Agree. He's a big play waiting to happen. I don't think his size is an issue except in one area...it can be kinda tough to find a guy that small in the passing game so you have to have plays designed to get him the ball. That's a small concern though. The rest is fine. He's fairly stocky for his age. Watch him be 5'7"/200lbs by the time he's a sophomore. That's really not a small back. It's all about proportions.

I initially thought a few months ago he should maybe be a CB. But watching the film and seeing his frame I actually agree with playing him at RB down the line. Make him a 3rd down back, bring him in and find ways to get him the ball in space.

Even though Chico himself said UW was recruiting him all along. It's fine to be wrong with recruiting prognostications but what annoys the shit out of me about Ektard and Lars is that they try to spin the story when they're wrong to try to save face. Just man the fuck up if you're wrong.
