And for that to be, you need to re-regionalize the sport. It's the regional competition during the season and the national competition at the end of the season that represents the secret sauce. We're tribal by nature and cfb used to be regionally tribal. Now we're strangers in a conference spread out from coast to coast and have to deal all the ignorant pasty white thighed cheese eaters* who think the PNW schools are allergic to cold and rain.

@creepycoug this is just the crescendo of the idea of closing local schools in posh neighborhoods and sending kids all the way across town that started in the woke 70’s ~ that ended badly and so will this.
