Neuhiesel made the good point that now more than ever, kids are being pushed/nudged out of programs because so much money is at stake, even though those kids were given scholies.
Seems like the aggressive pushing kids out started about 10 years ago. It's wild to now think about guys just going through a program for five years and not really playing and moving on. I feel like Petersen was one of the last coaches to not aggressively doing it and he got some good play out of late bloomers Sark would have let transfer to like Utah or the Beav and then killed us.
Lots of roster turnover is pretty much all they talked about. Then they transitioned over to the recruiting / portal stuff.
