Healthy is the key word, and it seems like he's "healthy" for maybe 2-3 games a season. Travis Dye is a scat back without the wiggle, nothing more. I'm excited to see more of Dollars. That kid has speed and a little bit of shake as well.

When you put it like that, it’s interesting and true, although Verdell has been better than Whitehead was as a Duck.
Turns out Royce Freemans don’t grow on trees, and even he’s about one more year away from being out of the NFL. LaMike flamed out almost immediately, Byron Marshall never even played in the NFL, and Barner is a special teams player bouncing around teams.
I do like Dollars a lot too. He deserves more carries next year. Cyrus was not good other than as a 3rd and very short back.
The only real “great” RB Oregon has had in recent years is Blount and he lost his shit against Hout and then had a crucial fumble in the Rose Bowl that should have been a TD fun.

Right now none of them are great. Verdell has ball carrier vision akin to bird box and zero patience.
Verdell makes an NFL roster, but right now it's more in the way Byron Marshall and Tony Brooks-James made NFL rosters.
Cardwell was a must get, especially given the entire offense fell apart (as opposed to a part) when Verdell was hurt this year and Seven McGee was already admitting he's a slot guy in 247 interviews. But an embarrassment of riches at the position is having so many running backs it forces NFL guys like Tra Carson into the portal or Byron Marshall to wide receiver. @DJDuck must be two young to remember the halcyon days of 2014.

Dye should not be used much unless they are in passing downs. He fumbles way too much to be trusted for more than a 5-6 touch capacity.
Verdell can't be trusted for more than 10-15 touches a game. that might even be too much, as his body has proven that.
Dollars I think has the highest upside of the returning backs, and he should get 30-40% of the rb touches week 1, with Verdell getting 50%, and Dye getting 10-20%. When something happens to Verdell, which something will, I think we need to add Benson into the mix.
