Captain Donald Butler with the sack

I like to call a front 7 with Teo Nesheim, Ta'Amu, Donald Butler, and Mason Foster no talent. That's what I like to do.
 
You couldn't expect Tyrone to have any kind of a competitive defense when he had players like Donald Butler, Dashon Goldson and Mason Foster on his team.

I remember in 2011 people were telling me that Nick Holt never had talent on his defense. I was like he inherited Butler, Foster, Teo-Nesheim, Ta'amu.

That 2009 roster I said it back then and I'll stick to it had 8 win-9 win talent.
 
Looking back, Holt should have been gone after 2009. He had legit starters in DTN, Ta'Amu, Foster, Butler, Savannah and Nate Williams. I'm going to assume Everett Thompson, Cameron Elisara, and Victor Aiyewa would have been way better without Holt in charge as well. The defense that year should have been pretty good.

Don't forget that Trufant was pretty good as a Freshman as well. Nate Fellner was also a good player at free safety. That team should have gone to a bowl.

Are you actually going to disagree with Dick Baird? A former coach? He has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.
