Was just reviewing some results from the Caple survey in Swaye's Wigwam. About 75-76% of those surveyed are either very happy or thrilled over the Job that Jedd is doing.

OBTW - say whatever the fuck you want (and I don't think Fisch is the second coming - so we can at least agree on that), but winning 10 games in Arizona is 10x harder than anything any sword swallower head coach Oregon has trotted out since Nike bought your Athletic Dept.
The Arizona performance was the justification to give the man an opportunity for more and see what his range of outcomes would be in the B1G at UW. At some point, new evidence presents itself and we now have 2 seasons of actual outcomes in the B1G at UW.

What was Mario Cristobal’s record after two years at Miami? Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss? Sark at Texas? None are unbelievable, great coaches, but success came after a few years. “Yeah, but it’s Sark he sucked!” He did, but he’s made the final four twice at Texas.
All have made the playoffs. I get that we are underwhelmed but there is a lot of nonsense posted here about how it “should be”. I would definitely rather have Cig, but it doesn’t always happen overnight. Everyone wants to win overnight.
Stability isn’t everything but it’s also stupid to act like it doesn’t matter at all. It definitely does. The evidence also supports improvement from year one to two and in Fisch’s last coaching job in Arizona, what happened in year three? He had another jump up and improved.

Most of what I wrote are facts. Jury is out on Fisch. I don’t even like him that much but pretending like what Cig or DeBoer did is common is false. A lot of coaches got it going after a couple of years.
I think he’s a good, but not great coach. Some of those guys win enough, some don’t. I think we will be better this year, but we’ll see.
