Well, that's a twist the Throbber wasn't expecting...
You guys remind me of Dems in 2016 with their "Russia elected Trump" false narratives
Now in a bizarre twist, Russia is the poor NATO bullied justified aggressor and Ukraine is Nazi Germany
el oh el
No, you fucking idiot:
Nazis in D.C.: Pete Santelli says he has identified UKRAINIANS IN THE AZOF BATTALION at the J6 capital protest..[/i]
Who gives a shit, even if it were true?
"that totally justifies Russia's invasion, man!!"
LOL
Youth is indeed wasted on the young.
I'm going to attribute your jingoistic hubris to youth and lack of experience, kid. I was young and naive when the US pushed Saddam out of Kuwait, which was a just and necessary military operation. 10 years later, I watched Cheney, Powell, and Bush lie through their fucking teeth, along with the NYT and many other news organizations, along with many Dems including Hillary Clinton, because none of them had the balls - for political reasons - to cite inadequate proof or evidence of WMDs in Iraq, capitalizing upon the shock the country was in after 9/ 11.
What we are witnessing right now, today, is extremely similar and captured perfectly in the movie Wag the Dog, aimed right straight at people like you. Yes, Russia sucks and bullies its neighbors. Since the Byzantines, everyone in the world knows you cannot trust Russians, and their adoption of Communism doubles down on that.
The question that matters is what interests of the United States are threatened or harmed by Russia's current conduct? Answer: None.
Ukraine is corrupt as fuck and no friend of the U.S., and also full of Nazis, which, you may remember, were extremely anti-communist, but also, you know, Nazis. The U.S. is not in charge of the world and every fight between nations is not our fucking problem and no U.S. treasure or blood is worth spilling over a country full of fuckheads like Putin or Zalensky.
Being the son of a veteran, having lost an uncle to the Japs in WW2 and having half a a dozen cousins who served in Vietnam, war and the justifications therefore have been a hot topic in my family for my entire life. Hell, my family fought in the fucking Crusades, and had a nuclear war survival plan in place during the Reagan years while living under the threat of nuclear disaster every day. We know war, son.
This war is not about right or wrong, it's ultimately about resources and proximity. Russia has the winning hand in this one, and Ukraine is getting slaughtered. If you want another Vietnam situation, keep pushing your narrative, and lick your wounds in 10 years when the Russians take it all like the Taliban just did in Afghanistan.
Why does it take so long for some people to see the obvious, which is the lack of any dog in this fight?
