involving former players and/or frosh pond when you were at the U

What's your best story? Don't want Derek to get sued, so keep it clean

Alright, I'll start -

Geology field trip up to St Helens in the UW cargo vans, no supervision. Jason Shelly riding shotgun, freestylin' about basalt for 3 hours. 40's of Old E in effect. People didn't know what to think

No frosh pond tales worthy of mention here. But we did christen a vessel of the UW in many ways and on several occasions. The most memorable being turning 21 in the Bering Sea on the old research hag the R.V. Thompson and Thompson. This is before the Navy took complete control over it and PI's had to be on vessel. We had about 90 days to load the boat for research gear and other consumables for a 6 week jaunt in some not-so-fun seas on our last trip when the 21 run began.

If only the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences/Marine Affairs (lower campus FTW) knew what happened on that boat before PIs stayed aboard full time...
