He had his chances. He blows assignments. Was pulled from the 2019 Stanford game. A few picks/fumble recoveries against SC and Cal don't change that.
 
Cam probably isn't any better but he should get snaps. Alex Cook got repeatedly embarrassed by this guy

You just can't expect to cover a white WR from Massachusetts who had three touchdowns in four years at Duke. You just can't.
 
At what point did it become completely the player's decision whether they would redshirt or not? I must have missed the memo
