I'll trust DeBoer because he didn't take the guy he knew and took a chance instead on Penix
 
What are the indications? Would be super interesting to see his mobility in Deboner's system.
 
Ward has a cannon. He has been running for his life for two years. Last year his oc sucked too. He can make the play longer. He makes terrible mental mistakes sometimes but I trust DeBoer with a qb.

Now go buy a defense.

From what I’ve seen, he looks for the quick read and then panics and holds the ball.

It would piss off the cuogs something fierce... probably way more than the whole Snakey thing. I'd take him to piss off the cuog faithful, if nothing else.

Pretty sure the coaches wanted him too but the NCAA denied his transfer without sitting out a year and he didn't have the credits to do it as a grad transfer to avoid sitting out. So he decided to stay at Fresno.
