Can any of you imagine Gregory pulling an all conference, black LB from Alabama? This is a good sign for Inge moving forward.

We just landed an All-ACC LB, who captained his ACC championship team and is from Alabama. Clearly, Morgan knew him and we're paying him. Thank god!

Pretty sure he's playing inside. The slot/hybrid (Husky?) position would be the other possibility since he's kind of in between safety and LB weight and runs like a safety. He's not a big LB and the new defense doesn't use small outside linebackers if I understand correctly.

Money well spent. This was the most important position to add a good player or two, aside from quarterback.

Pretty sure he's playing inside. The slot/hybrid (Husky?) position would be the other possibility since he's kind of in between safety and LB weight and runs like a safety. He's not a big LB and the new defense doesn't use small outside linebackers if I understand correctly.

In the new 4-2-5 defense the 5th DB which has been a smaller nickel (Budda, Molden, Bookie) in the PK/JL defense is replaced by the bigger "Husky" position which is more of a safety/WLB hybrid. Shaq would have been perfect for this role.

For this upcoming season, It's not clear to me if Bright and the JC transfer Demario King will play Husky or MLB. FWIW, King is listed as a LB on the GoHuskies roster while Dom (who's been rumored to be in the Husky role too) is still listed as a DB.

That was intentional. I hope Asa doesn't see the field unless it's an emergency.

I'm not sure if the base 4 man front will consist of 2 DL and 2 EDGE players or 3 and 1. If it's 2 and 2 then Savell could be in the rotation.
