There are lots of other "tweeners" who have been successful at UW.

For example, Kikaha was a 6'2" 230 pound kid with a big frame who was recruited as a DE. He was on the small side to be a DL, but didn't have the physical attributes to be a traditional LB either.

The whole BUCK position is basically designed for tweeners.

So apparently bama hasn't done any in homes with him at all nor have they indicated any in the near future.
