Cal vs Oregon

At least there's something positive to look forward to, the chance that a future QB won't be ass. Thompson and Huard both have all the potential in the world. QBs are impossible to project with certainty to the next level, from HS to college to the NFL. For every golden boy Trevor Lawrence there are two Brock Berlins.

I've seen three Morris games and five Shucks. Dylan Morris and Tyler Shough both suck at the same level. Shough has the higher ceiling and the lower floor, Morris is less likely to royally fuck up at any given second. It's like they're a reflection of the head coaches. If I was Oregon I'd say fuck it and start Butterfield. Unless they think he has the potential to be significantly better in the future.

Both coaching staffs make me want to kms

If it makes you feel better I thought Washington would be worse this year than they are. Successful experienced coach is replaced by first timer, shitty OC is hired, quarterbacks not expected to be good, all the running backs are dreck, and two good players opted out.

Yet if Washington wins next week they win the division over their rival, and they finish with a building block season.

I think both Oregon and Washington fans should rearrange their expectations. For me as an Oregon fan disappointment is one of our few old traditions.
