My guess is Jenn said "we might need to trim the budget a bit" and "Jimmy said no problem, I can get guys for even less than that".

Ultimately it's Jenn's job to give him money to work with but it's Jimmy's job to fight for the best for his program.

I’m hearing Jimmy has a consultant in the building that can help him navigate tricky leadership issues.

I expect to see the team host Simone Biles to address overcoming hardship to achieve long term goals.
