Buff fan visiting Seattle

Hi all, as the title says, my family and I are visiting Seattle for the first time and staying from Thursday thru Sunday the week the Buffs come to town. Wanted your insight on maybe some cool dinner spots/Friday activities/must-see sites while we are visiting! [/b]We are staying in a hotel in Bellevue but very close to the bridge that leads to Husky stadium If that helps with suggestions. (about 7 miles from the stadium) Any and all tips are welcome. Thanks!

I don't understand

Don't listen to @RuffaloSoldier , he's a Nebraska troll trying to make Buff fans that spend time on husky forums look bad. CU fans love this site, and most of it has to do with our penchant for great recommendations of local watering holes and eateries (we call them that now).

Awesome that you are staying in Bellevue. You can take part in the long tradition of the gameday parade that starts in Bellevue, and goes across 520 (the floating bridge) to husky stadium.

Just have your Uber driver drop you off at any onramp to 520, and walk down the ramp to the highway. Don't worry, they close it off for the parade so there won't be any other traffic using it. Your hotel can probably give you more details about it, if you are staying at one of the better establishments... if they don't know about it, I'd change hotels. Most hotels actually have a shuttle service to the closest 520 onramp.

There will be vendors along 520 selling brats and beers, and if your party gets too tired from the walk, rickshaws can be hired to take you all the way across.

BTW, rickshaw rides are free, as they are sponsored by Pac-12 Ching Chong Network.

Fuck off.

Considering UW doesn't play Colorado for 1 month makes me think @RuffaloSoldier is an alt account. If he hates this place so much why is he lurking so far in advance and always voting the moment any sort buff thread gets created?

Answer the fucking question Ruffalo

Sure - Here is a decent rundown:

I would hit the Met or Daniels for steak. Anthony's or Ray's for Seafood. Alki Tavern has the best burger in town. Northlake tavern has great pizza and cold beer and you can walk to the game from there.

The Ram at U village has an incredible "Ribs 'n Rickshaw" special $15.99 all you can eat and a ride to the game in a rickshaw. Plus they have a lot of cool HD TV's so you can hang with your peeps and catch some other games.

If you like to have a few "sodas" you can can carry them around in a big red cup.

Don't forget to go to the Space Needle. Hit the Underground tour. Visit the Locks. Go to the Experience Music Project. Visit Pike Place Market and see the flying fish and the big piggy bank. Hit the Seattle Art Museum. Don't forget to go to the Seattle Center Fun Forest. Oh,and walk down to the water front. Go to Ivars. Get the large chowder.

I recommend the newish downtown Boulder Beer Company location for the coldest beer in town. For food I recommend Runza in Loveland. Folsom Field is beautiful this time of year! Enjoy your trip! I'll be there in Boulder rooting for my Dawgs!!!1!
