I liked the call with the matchup. We need to use Jones on that type of route more. Just should have been on second down rather than third.

Fuck no. Unless you’re a top five QB in the NFL, fade routes are low percentage bullshit plays that are only called because they look cool on highlight reels from the back end zone cam. Terrible audible by Jake.

Fair...but he might as well clocked it. Jones would have had the same chance of catching it. The fans in the first row were closer to it.

Single coverage or not, checking into a low percentage play like a fade on third down[/i] in overtime[/b][/i] shows complete lack of awareness. For the last time, Jake is not a smart QB.
