Look for #3 in the dark unis. The away team = Giants. In those days the officials ran too close to the action. It looks like the ref is almost blocking, he's so close.

Bronko was a superb athlete with great hips.

He wouldn't even start for Eastern.
I see a lot of guys in that clip who are very cerebral and bring the lunch pail everyday. Not too many gifted athletes who are surprisingly well-spoken though

I think Irish likes anybody with huge hips.
The field was frozen, and at halftime the Giants switched to basketball, converse-like shoes from cleats, and came roaring back to win.
The game still looks about the same now as then, but faster. If you watch carefully there is some sloppy tackling on Nagurski. Arm tackling, no arms-tackling, huge holes. Nagurski and Csonka had a lot in common.
