Bring home Hurricane Dennis

Dennis Erickson would be a great on the staff. If you wanted to keep JS around they could be co-coordinators. He coached Jonathan Smith and Smith was on Erickson's staff at Idaho. Dennis is a good recruiter and knows the JUCO ranks (best way to get quick influx of talent) and recruited some of Utah's best junior college talent. Dennis is also a great guy and his mother still lives in the area.

Lol at the thought of a drunk Dennis rolling into the Petersen's office with a bottle of Jim Beam and a pack of Marb Reds to watch film and put together the game plan.

What about Gilby as OC?

He's had a pretty decent run at UW as OC. 3 Rose Bowl winning teams, including the National Championship team and Rick's squad that finished #3 in the country (over Erickson and Smith).

Gilby was a fucking disaster as an OC (after '91).

It was Karl Dorrell that put in the right offense. Only Doogs think Gilby did shit.

In '99 when we installed the offense that made sense (which is the last time our offense made any fucking sense) Gilby was the OL coach and Dorrell was the OC.

Not the case.

The 90 AD was Bleenor's wet dream, not HarveyRoad's.
