The difference is Brian Kelly seems like a terrible person unlike Brian KellyI bet Kelly faced the beginnings of a burnout at ND and thought a change of scenery might extend his shelf life much like Petersen described his last could years in Boise. Heading to LSU was ultimately about money and guaranteeing his future earnings win or lose while being paid a large buyout in case he failed. I imagine Chris Petersen had similar thoughts with genuine hopes of creating a spark while getting a bigger bag.
