Good point. When you put it that way I can't put even the worst of quooks below defending pedophilia en masseIm gonna say it - pedo enabling Penn State fans are worse than Quooks

Those are different things, my friend.I respect the Penn State fans for toughing out the stain of the pedo years…just like us who are still around after Owen.

The only coach who ever mattered at Penn State and the author of their entire legacy looked the other way while he knew that his trusted defensive coordinator was using his position and facilities to groom mostly vulnerable and underprivileged young boys and destroy them emotionally and psychologically.
I don't think I'd compare that to suffering through a winless season. PSU would still be paying a penance for all of that if the American attention span were greater than that of a gerbil.

I mean, hard to say what fans suspected. That's a big question covering a rather large population of people. Like asking how many Germans really knew what was happening at the camps. Not all knew, but some did, and many had good reason to at least suspect. From what I recall reading, the longer it went on the more scuttlebutt there was around town and around the program and university. No question at all that Joe Pa knew he had a problem. The only thing nobody will ever really know was how long he knew but I can tell you he didn't find out about it when you and I did.Wasn't there someone named @rhythmicslappingdawg here?
Did Penn State fans have any suspicions of pedo shit when it was happening? I know I've seen some stuff that at the very least it's possible the JoePa should have known stuff was overstated and turns out Mike McQueary is a sketch factory and just reading his Wiki page now it certainly seems like he may have claimed he told JoePa he so buggery when he really didn't really tell him to cover his ass legally.
Only almost fight I ever experienced at a football game was at a Husky tailgate (Montlake) with an eager and fratty OSU beaver who made an inappropriate reference to my wife's tits. But that's all I've ever dealt with personally, though I've seen many a fan misbehave (including our? own). I personally do not talk shit with strangers at games. Seems like a bad idea with little to no upside. I also mostly sit/sat next to a former Husky who people often recognize, and I think that tends to subdue the shit talking a bit as a general matter. My dad said when he left the stadium in Arizona in 1992 he had fans getting in his face screaming the worst curse words imaginable. So I'm guessing he'd toss in a vote for U of A
Michigan fans were getting it pretty good from us? last year. I don't think that bad, but pretty bad. None of it was coming from me though. zilchMy dad said when he left the stadium in Arizona in 1992 he had fans getting in his face screaming the worst curse words imaginable. Not sure who THE worst fanbases are. They all tend to get obnoxious. But not having a southern school in the conversation seems wrong. In my estimation, the 3 worst fan bases in the US are Penn State, Oregon, and BYU. Not sure who gets the 4th spot on Mt Rushmore.
