Talked to somebody who was disillusioned a bit by UW. Kind of the typical stuff. Kid was passed over for international tuition dollars, but also that McDavid was / is a douche to former band members. I know I'm not a fan. He kept ignoring my requests for a halftime show in honor of @PurpleBaze and his explosive massive dong. Almost like this:

If he's been there for 30 years, I will have to take everyone's word on how awful he is as I don't think I can recall anything about the band prior to his tenure. Seems like the band gets zero opportunity to play during the games anymore, anyways.
