BOOM - Vernon Adams To Oregon

HFNY -
I am not sure how hard UCLA went after VA either. One thing I think is an impact, I don't believe VA graduates until after spring quarter form EWU. So he wont get to participate in Spring Ball wherever he went and will only have a Summer/Fall to win the job.

At oregon - I get the feeling Mahalak and the other mop up guy aren't starter quality, while Josh Rosen at UCLA is the most hyped athlete UCLA has signed since Kevin Love and would likely get the lion share of snaps in Spring (yes RD55 I am aware of your talking point on HS QBs). VA wants to play, I think it's an easier path at Oregon. He's arguably a better fit in the Oregon offense as well.

Looks like Stanford vs USC in pac12 title game. Sark finally gets a pac12 title.

I can now safely rule USC and Stanford out of the running. Any more sure fire picks I can go against, would help dearly on the NBA board when playoff season rolls around.

Stanford - Agree. I think this is their last year of high level play.

SC - Nope. Their front 7 is weak and will feature lots of true frosh, this is the weakest set of skill players they've had in awhile, their OL is still largely 2nd year players w/ Bob Connelly now coaching them, and Sark will Sark. 8-4. Put that in your meds and smoke it.

That line moved you from upvote to awesome.

Can't wait until he has a bad game so I can say "God didn't help you there!"

That will show his make believe deity.

U do realize Adams performed against the drek of the PAC 12 dont u Duck?! Funny to see the quacks get all excited about this. Just like Petersen, he can beat an FBS team once a year.

Vernon Adams is absolutely fantastic and anyone that says different or makes fun of his accomplishments is 100% Doog.

Guy can play and was the best QB in Husky Stadium in years.

You're right. How will backing him up with top-tier D1 talent on the outside, and arguably the best backfield in the Pac 12 going to elevate his game? Oregon's screwed.

Adams is basically trading in his Taurus for a Mercedes S-class

Mark Helfrich was born a scramblin'man
It may be D-1AA talent but he's doin' the best he can.
And when the ducks start losing, the quooks will understand.
That he was born a scramblin' man

Maybe it's just abundance, but I find it fascinating how some of you are more excited about a potential Oregon drop off than a potential rise in Husky football. Hate to break it to you, but even if Oregon flounders, Stanford is still better than you, and Kal (crazy I know) is improving, and not that far behind you. After that, there's 4 teams in the South that are better than UW. Oregon falling, would be sure nice for you to see, but unless you get your shit together, it's not going to help you one bit.

Kal sucks. UW is still a ways behind Oregon and Stanford though.

Not a big fan of the Isley Brothers, huh?
You take yourself way too seriously. I think educk would be more your speed. You may also be interested in a pro football team we have here in Seattle. Their fans are also humorless cunts who love to rip on other teams but can't take a joke when it comes to their team.

It's complete dooging to call this move by Helf a failure. Adams can ball and immediately helps Oregon. In the limited snaps I saw Lockie play, he was clearly not ready for primetime and shitting his pants. I don't know anything about that Mahalak guy but Adams can make throws in tight windows. Oregon's offense usually has someone streaking downfield open by 10 yards.

True he is not as good of a runner as Mariota, but he is good enough. If anything it means more touches for Freeman--who is incredible--Tyner, and whatever 5 star Running Back they have riding pine over there.

I think there are valid questions with Adams, but saying this means the Duck's have failed at QB development is wishful thinking. Lockie likely sucks. Mahallak is going to be a redshirt freshman coming off an injury and Waller will be a true freshman and is considered raw by the TBSers. Adams is a bridge guy for a team that wants to win another Pac 12 title instead of going through growing pains with a new QB. Great pick up for Oregon.

our cute little ducks have become quite rabid since they got bucked in the eye

I always knew we would be able to troll ducks again I just had no idea it would happen so soon.

Vernon Adams beat* Washington, nothing else matters.

If I were a duck fan I'd point out that Oregon could beat Washington with Cyler Miles as their quarterback
