Jimmy Newell and Greg Carothers were pretty bad. Owen Biddle was the other safety. Too many whites at safety. He wasn't terrible as a safeties coach at UW
Not sure if that falls all on him, but his last two years were bad.

Coldest beer in town?He used to.
I’ve cooked steaks for and drunk cold beers with Bobby high up in the Wasatch range.
My grandma thought he was hawt when he was.He wasn't terrible as a safeties coach at UW
Carothers was fucking awesome as a freshman in 2000 and sucked every year after. I can't think of another Husky who had that career progression as much as he did. I thought he was going to be the next in line of Lawyer-Parrish-Akbar and then he was a fat linebacker by the end of his career.Jimmy Newell and Greg Carothers were pretty bad. My Grandma Lydia lived in the same apt building as Brock Huard in the 1990s. I went to visit her one afternoon and she said that morning she had been in the elevator with him. "He's so handsome!" she said.My grandma thought he was hawt when he was.
Oh no, Central's in trouble cfb must be dead
Nobody even knows schools like whitworth even play football unless they do a camp there in high school. But anyways, yeah cfb is dead!
Also, why then did he go to Illinois as a coordinator where he will assuredly have to grovel for teenagers again?![]()
The Helena Hitman? I always thought he was pretty good. It wasn't like the '03 team was going anywhere regardless of who was playing. Gilby couldn't coach boy scouts to put up a tent.Carothers was fucking awesome as a freshman in 2000 and sucked every year after. I know you are, as always, trying to be snide asshole. But cfb being broken has a ripple effect all down the line. Central is going to show a much great rate of flux and have even less stability that the big programs. D3 is probably just going to always be the rich kids' schools. Guys that are well off and can play some football can play there.
While I don't follow Central, I am a little saddened to hear of this.Hauck is right. cfb is essentially broken, even for Central. After their big season and Lone Star title the coach and half the fucking team left. No continuity. It's show me the money. Just become a pro football fan.
He will get paid a lot more, doesn’t have head coach responsibilities, and won’t do too much groveling. Illinois will either pay their targeted guys or they won’t. Hauck will have very little to do with that.Oh no, Central's in trouble cfb must be dead
