The Big Sky conference level of play has increased substantially over the past few years as Frosh and Soph players who'd be 4th or 5th on a big school's depth chart, instead choose to start and play at smaller schools right away, hoping to transfer to bigger schools a year or two later. It's good for talented, maturing players to have access to better opportunities through the portal, but not good for the schools they depart, as the rosters are constantly turning over. I'll still catch games at WA Grizzly stadium a couple times per year, if only to chug Cold Smokes outside the stadium, but the days of good players staying for 4 years under Bobby are over, I'm afraid. Still a fucking great place to watch a game and tailgate.

Throbber actually had EWU season tickets during Cooper Kupps senior year. Nowhere near Washington Griz Stadium but it was fun as hell. 20 minute commute, park steps away from the stadium, halftime beers with re-entry allowed. Good tims in the Big Sky.
That is a terrible hire. He’s been terrible everywhere but Montana. Montana is a really good FCS program with a great history and terrific infrastructure.
He went there when I did. He’s a really nice guy. I liked him a lot the couple of times we hung out.
Hope you are right. It is possible that he has learned something. But, I agree, not likely.
I've got about as many Montana related CSB's as a man can have for someone who never lived there.
I've even played drunken 2 x 2 hoops against @RoadDawg55 's frat buddies in the Bodega! They couldn't handle Yella's elbows in the low post.

I've said it the entire time. The real casualty of cfb isn't even going to be the New Pac 10 schools. FCS will turn into Whitworth level football. Why NDSU jumped to the fucking MW.
To Roaddawg's point the biggest problem in CFB right now is actually this there's an entire month of only 5% of the games being against real competition. Can't charge people more and more money without fixing that.
