There was a tweet that Sark has coached two of the last three Doak winners

I guess someone won it at Bama not that anyone remembers or cares

Word is that Bijan and Roschon Johnson -- the backup RB who also has a draftable grade -- as well as starting LB Demarvion Overshown are sitting out. The third string RB Jonathon Brooks is a sophomore who has looked very good in limited, mostly garbage time carries (45 career rushes, 732 yards, 5 TDs). Bijan is a mutant, but Brooks is still a good player. Losing Overshown may be more problematic from a depth perspective. Just not as much behind him at LB.

732 yards on 45 carries would be about 15-16 yards per carry.

Yeah... that was a typo. 332 yards on 45 carries. 7.2 per. Not shabby. He's looked really good in limited action, albeit against mostly backups and worn down defenses. If he weren't playing behind two NFL caliber backs, he'd have more action. As bummed as I am not to see Bijan one last time in a Texas uniform, I'm excited to see what he can do.

What a fantastic opportunity for that player and his family, not to mention all of us fans.

Our own Greg Lewis was the first Doak winner and nobody really cared back then either.
