Biggest problem with UW

Through last week, I never thought this team was that bad. But that was last fucking week.That wasn't this week. That was last fucking week. That was last week. That wasn't this week. And so we're too good to play Penn State. Fuck us. That ain't true. You know, shit, what are our three goals? They beat us on all of them. Be a team. Be the most excited to play. Be the best at doing your fucking job. They beat us on all three.

Not to DeBoner this thread, but Fish was at a significant disadvantage being hired after the first portal window had closed. LIPO He needs more tim. Also he sucks ass.
 
I don’t feel qualified to comment on this season as I’ve only watched 3.5 games this year…but when has a lack of adequate knowledge on a subject stopped anybody on the internet from making any sweeping pronouncements, am I right? 😁
I don’t know who this team is or how invested anyone is in its success anymore.
Part of that is obviously fallout from The Dutchman dumping us for Bama and having a once in generation talent at QB go to the NFL, but for a team that was in the national championship game in January and just made a move to a big boy conference, we continue to give off these “we’re just happy to be competitive” vibes.
Just the malaise from the AD down to the fans (yes, myself included) is disconcerting.
I mean, we? lost to the CUOG! and it was one big shoulder shrug.
I want the UW that showed up for the Michigan game, dammit.

The two teams from the CFB playoff final are 10-10 - it's like it is not worth it to go to the championship.

And Michigan had Harbaugh for a decent amount of seasons before they managed his exit. The fact that they don't have a good QB and WRs on the team is nearly criminal.
In contrast, UW has had 4 head coaches in 5 years, DeBoer then surprised and bolted after the NC game (and after the winter transfer window had closed) so UW had to scramble to find someone. The fact that Michigan and UW have the same record despite a totally different off-season is a pretty big indictment of Michigan since their roster was pretty much keep together.
 
Michigan lost a lot of talent, maybe not nearly as much as UW, but their offense was particularly hurt.
Still, are we really happy to compare to Michigan and say, “look at us! 5-5 ain’t so bad.”
Fuck that. You don’t lose to Rutgers. You don’t lose to cuog. And you don’t get boat raced by anyone, especially Iowa.
The 2024 version of UW football is the most embarrassing shit since 0-12. I can’t even put it in the same league as Lake’s team because the effort was there at least.
These clowns, save a select few, have no right representing UW. Bunch of fucking pussies, and it starts with the head coach.
