Lol. Until a week ago, she was 100% retaining lake. She’s his biggest booster. She doesn’t have a short list, she wasn’t kicking the tires of other coaches.
Her brilliant plan was to shitcan Donovan and let Jimmy reset with another shitty OC. Only her and Jimmy are so over their heads that they fucked that up and waited too long.
I honestly think if they would have fired Donovan after like UCLA, they might have weathered walk-on gate. But by firing Jon don the same weekend, it added to the general chaos around the program and forced her hand.
Just lmao that she would be announcing like a bob stoops hire today. She’s still googling “what is a search firm?”
The news is Jimmy is out. Which we have all known for days. All that said - Hallelujah.
