Weird it seems they're not doing divisions and I had figured playing the LA schools every year.

Conference said they didn't want to protect too many match-ups because then there wouldn't be enough rotation between all the schools. We get a SoCal team every year but not both.
Literally has both LA teams on the schedule for 2024.

Yes, because that's the random draw for 2024. They're not protected matchups for us, so every once in a while, we'll get UCLA and USC in the same year
The guaranteed annual protected matchups are Illinois-Northwestern, Illinois-Purdue, Indiana-Purdue, Iowa-Minnesota, Iowa-Nebraska, Iowa-Wisconsin, Maryland-Rutgers, Michigan-Michigan State, Michigan-Ohio State, Minnesota-Wisconsin, Oregon-Washington[/b] and UCLA-USC.
